EMS Services

The Township emergency medical services are divided between three area emergency medical service agencies. The Township has established service contracts with the City of Stoughton EMS, Deer-Grove EMS, and the Village of McFarland EMS to provide these services.

Each of these agencies is staffed with full-time, part-time, and volunteer with a minimum of state and national certified emergency medical technician level qualifications; Deer Grove EMS provides advanced life support/paramedic level certified care.

The Dane County 9-1-1 center will dispatch the nearest and most readily available EMS to your emergency.

What to do in an Emergency?

The very first thing one should do is call 9-1-1.

The 9-1-1 emergency dispatch will ask you for information on the nature of the emergency and can provide you with guidance and basic first aid assistance while they dispatch the nearest emergency medical service to your location.
