A detailed agenda for each meeting is posted a minimum of 24 hours before the meeting date.

Concerning the Inspection of Public Records

The organization of record is the Office of the Clerk, Town of Pleasant Springs.

Information on the inspection of public records may be obtained from the town Records Custodian at the Town of Pleasant Springs Town Hall, 2354 County Highway N during office hours.

All public records that are not confidential or privileged are available for public inspection and/or copying during posted office hours. For information on access limitations and withholding information, see Section 19.36 of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Any person may request the assistance of the State of Wisconsin Attorney General regarding the right to inspect public records and property under any circumstances.

Requests for inspection may be made to an elected official or the Records Custodian. Requests may be oral or in writing. Any oral request for information may be denied orally, and any written request that is denied must be explained in writing with a statement of the reason(s) for denial.

Requests will be filled as soon as practicable and without delay.

A copy charge of $.25 per page is applicable for each page reproduced on town copiers, plus the costs of locating, mailing, transcribing and/or tape transfer if applicable. Requests whose total cost exceeds $5.00 may require prepayment.
