The role of the Plan Commission is to
provide preliminary review and recommendation to the Town Board and/or Dane County for :
Process Overview
The 9 Step Process to Obtain a Rezone, Conditional Use Permit,
Variance, Special Use Permit, Preliminary Certified Survey Map or Final Certified Survey Map:
– The time required to
complete the process will vary per request. Some take 2-3 months, others 6
months or more. The extent to which you prepare and the schedules of government
bodies & agencies are the two biggest factors affecting the length of the
process.
Meetings:
All meetings are held at the Pleasant Springs Town Hall, 2354
County Highway N, Stoughton, WI
53589-2873 beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise notified.

The Plan Commission consists of seven members; six of them
are residents of
Pleasant Springs and the seventh is a member of the Town Board. Resident
commissioners are appointed by the Town Board and serve three year terms. The
Town Board representative is appointed by the town chairperson and
is approved by a three-quarter majority of the Town Board to serve a one year term.
