The Town has a Brush Drop-Off/Compost Site available to all residents of the Township.

Note: This facility is only for residents of the Town of Pleasant Springs, and residents must have a Town of Pleasant Springs resident sticker on their car to use the site. If you do not have a residents sticker please contact the Town Office at (608) 873-3063, or stop by during office hours to pick one up. These stickers are free to residents.

FREE COMPOST AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS AT THE BRUSH DROP-OFF/ COMPOST SITE

The following items are accepted at the facility:
  • leaves
  • grass trimmings
  • clean brush no more than 4 inches in diameter.

Please Note: Effective 01/01/2020, the Dane County landfill will no longer accept yard waste.

In January, the Town also makes the site available for disposal of holiday trees. Note: The Town does not pick up holiday trees, trees must be brought to the Brush Burning/Compost Site for disposal. Trees must be bare, and not contain any decorations, wires, or metals.
