Dog Licenses

WI State Statutes 174.05 & 95.21 require that all dogs over the age of 5 months be licensed and vaccinated.

All licenses expire on December 31, and must be renewed by March 31 of the following year.

After March 31, a late fee of $10.00 per tag will be assessed for each tag in addition to the regular fee.

All dog license applications must include current proof of vaccination.

Residents can click on the link below to print out an application, or request that a copy be mailed or emailed to them.

*Please note that we do not issue dog licenses after August 30th; therefore, you will need to apply for an exemption letter if you have not obtained a dog license by August 30th. To obtain an exemption letter, mail a copy of your proof of vaccination and a note requesting an exemption or stop in during office hours with a vaccination certificate.
