In January of 2019, McFarland Senior Outreach Services began offering transportation services to the residents of Pleasant Springs. Prior to this, Stoughton Area Senior Center managed that service. Transit Solutions Inc. currently provides the rides under a Dane County Contract. Rides are on a schedule as follows: 

  • Rides for Shopping
    Wheelchair and scooter accessible transportation for shopping provided by Transit Solutions. Passengers are allowed up to 6 grocery bags. Drivers will assist with loading/unloading. Donations accepted. Masks required. Passengers must be over age 60. Call 608-838-7117 to schedule a ride.

    • Super Walmart in Monona: Mondays 9:30am pick up/Noon Return

    • Pick n Save in McFarland: Tuesdays 9:30am pick up/11am return Madison East*:

    • Thursdays 9:30am pick up/11:30am return *Destination Varies by Request (Monona/East Side Madison) 


    Rides to Medical Appointments
    RSVP Medical Rides: Rides to and from medical appointments.
    Required 1 week advance notice. Masks required. All passengers
    must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to be eligible for
    rides. Contact McFarland Senior Outreach to schedule a ride at
    608-838-7117.
    Veyo Transportation: Consumers with Medicaid benefits should
    contact Veyo for transportation to appointments. Contact Veyo at:
    1-866-907-1493
    Dane County Transportation Center: Wheelchair accessible
    transport to medical appointments and surgeries. Call and leave a
    message at 608-242-6489.
    Vets Helping Vets Program
    Volunteer drivers provide medical, job application and support
    transportation within Dane County for any veterans, including
    immediate family members regardless of age. Call 608-238-7901 for
    more information.
