The Yahara River and Bay are recreational havens for residents and visitors alike.

Bird Watching - The river and bay are a bird watcher's paradise with everything from Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Hawks, Owls to songbirds. Bring your binoculars and enjoy the show.

Fishing - Types of fish caught in the Yahara River include: Panfish,  Largemouth Bass, Nothern Pike, Walleye and Catfish.

Canoeing/Kayaking - With relatively no development, you are surrounded by cattails, water lillies and oak trees. The river in this area is slow-going and crystal clear. What more could you ask for?
