In September of 2022, I drafted a 10-page report to the Army Corps of Engineers requesting a public hearing to provide factual information to the public, regarding the proposed building of a white-water park in the City of Stoughton.

Current adopted resolution by the Town of Pleasant Springs created opposing the water park and dam removal project proposed by City of Stoughton.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town of Pleasant Springs that the Town opposes any plan to remove or reconstruct the Stoughton Dam that will result in lowering water levels in the Yahara River and Bay north of CTH B in a manner that negatively affects this irreplaceable Town resource and the wide variety of uses and benefits it provides as expressed herein...
